Mark Comer Kicks Off Summer
Summer is upon us, which means we’re in for longer days with more sunshine, holidays, events and plenty to be happy about. Many men and women across North America will be spending their summer seeking out R&R. Others will look at the season as the perfect time to accelerate the growth of their business.
Synergy’s top earner, Double Presidential Executive Mark Comer, has chosen the latter. Summer sun won’t be keeping him seated next to the air conditioner. Instead, Mark has been working to build his business across this market as well as the other side of the globe.
In North America last month, Mark was the number one point earner in the Top 50 Challenge. This means he earned a new iPad by doing the basic business building activities (such as sponsoring new team members and helping members of his team earn their own achievements) that every Team Member is encouraged to do. He earned his Personal Activity Bonus for a second consecutive month, which means that he was busy recruiting both customers and distributors and earned a cash bonus to stack on top of his commission (a cash bonus available to all Team Members across North America).
Coming up on July 11 and 12 , Mark will be training active and prospective Team Members Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There he will share his story and lead people to increase their income. For more information about this event see the Synergy North America Calendar.
On the other side of the world, Mark teamed up earlier this month with fellow Double Presidential Yoon Tae Hwang for a series of successful Synergy meetings. He traveled to Korea, Thailand and Vietnam to work with Team Members and help them better understand the Synergy Advantage. He enjoyed a fantastic welcome from thousands of Team Members and leaders. “I was incredibly grateful for their kindness, inspired by their work ethic, and motivated by their ongoing success,” he said. Like many of Synergy’s finest Team Members, Mark has been very busy. Summer is here, and with it comes a warm, wonderful window of opportunity. We are confident Mark and others will continue to make the most of this window and find success as a result. We encourage Team Members everywhere to do that same in the upcoming months, and have fun along the way!

Emerald Executives Emerge in Finland
Two of Europe’s most influential leaders saw their tireless work ethic and powerful business strategy pay off in a big way this week. Congratulations to Eric and Kati Gammals on achieving the Emerald Executive title!
Only a handful of Team Members have reached this level in the European markets, making this accomplishment one for the history books.
Eric and Kati are Finland natives that have been with Synergy WorldWide since 2011, and have been moving forward at full speed ever since, changing thousands of lives along the way. They are valued members of the European Advisory Board and contribute much of their success to effective training and team work.
On behalf of Synergy North America, we express sincere congratulations. It is truly a privilege to have Eric and Kati on the Synergy WorldWide team. They are examples of leadership, and we are thrilled to announce this tremendous and well-earned achievement. About the Expert
Dr. Matthew Tripp received a Ph.D. from Washington State University in Physiology/Microbial Genetics/Microbiology; an M.A. in Microbial Physiology/Bacterial Genetics and a B.S. in Biology both from Western Michigan University. He completed extensive post-doctoral research at the University of California – San Diego where he discovered novel protein phosphorylation cascades involved in nutrient signaling (nutrigenomics) – processes that when disrupted by poor diet, lead to metabolic disease and chronic illness.
His career includes leadership roles and R&D responsibilities at the Kellogg Company, the Miller Brewing Company and Metagenics. He served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Metagenics, a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of high quality dietary supplements and medical foods sold through health care practitioners in the U.S. and pharmacies abroad. He also concurrently served as Senior Vice President, Research and Development, at KinDex Therapeutics, a biotechnology company.
At Metagenics, Dr. Tripp had direct responsibility for managing the discovery, development, safety, and clinical validation of medical foods and nutraceuticals. Significantly, he led the creation of a substantial body of proprietary intellectual property, resulting in over 100 patents and patent applications.
Now, at Nature’s Sunshine Products, the parent company of Synergy WorldWide, Dr. Tripp serves as the Chief Scientific Officer. His responsibilities include working to oversee the company’s product research and development operations. Furthermore, he plays a critical role in clearly defining, developing and communicating the Company’s science strategy and vision to achieve higher organic growth and profitability through innovation.

In April of this year, a distinguished body of Poland’s top health and medical professionals gathered for an annual program known as the Golden Otis Award Ceremony. At this ceremony, Mr. Radek Baszynski, Synergy WorldWide’s General Manager of Poland & Czech Republic, accepted the Golden Otis Award of Trust on behalf of our company.
The Golden Otis organization honored Synergy with this award in recognition of ProArgi-9+ as a quality product, highly trusted by polled professionals, consumers and patients across Poland. The science and effectiveness of ProArgi-9+ was declared by this organization to be not-only trusted, but also “needed” by men and women around the world.
“The Golden Otis Award of Trust 2014, that we are receiving today,” said Baszynski, “stands as yet another confirmation of the quality of our products. I am extremely happy to receive this award. It gives us an even stronger motivation to search for the best solutions as far as health and nutrition are concerned.”
Mr. Pawel Krus, the Chapter Chairman of the Golden Otis Organization, noted that this award “is the biggest and oldest consumer award in Poland,” said Pawel Krus, Chapter Chairman of the Golden Otis Organization.

The Activity Bonus Program is now starting its 5th month- and many Team Members across North America are working hard and earning the extra cash bonuses. By finding new customers and distributors, these Team Members are earning Personal Activity Bonuses month after month. Synergy WorldWide is delighted to recognize and reward them for these efforts.
“We’d like to give special recognition to Trudy Northcutt and Lee Edwards,” said North America’s General Manager Howard Hannemann. “Trudy has actually earned her DAB three months in a row! Way to go Trudy. You are setting a great example for all of us.”
“We’ve got to remember how important these duplication activities are,” continued Howard. “Duplication means so much more to a person’s business. It doesn’t matter what works— it only matters what duplicates. Finding new customers and recruiting new Team Members every month is basic. Helping those new Team Members in your downline to do the same thing? That’s what will make someone a leader. That’s what will create Synergy’s next Million Dollar Club member. Duplication is the secret to success. It’s tough, but it should be a goal for anyone that wants to see bigger numbers on their check. Make sure you are doing the activities that can be duplicated by each person in your group. Use the tools that are available.”
MAY DUPLICATION ACTIVITY BONUS (DAB) EARNERS

Her third consecutive month of earning a DAB! Trudy and her mother Kaye have caught the vision of the Activity Bonus Program and are making serious efforts to capitalize on it. As Kaye told Synergy back in March, “there is fun stuff going on right now in the business with these bonuses. Now is the time to sign up and get going.”
Lee & Crystal Edwards
No stranger to achievement, Lee decided to stack his first DAB onto his third consecutive month of earning a PAB. “I wanted to make sure it was possible [to earn a DAB],” said Lee, “and it is possible, and it’s not an overwhelming task. I bet a lot of people are actually close to earning it without even realizing it. It just takes a little more focused effort to achieve it. Now I want to continue earning it from here on out.”
